STREETS FALL TO COLUMBUS AT HOME

Quarterback Luke Collis threw for 382 yards and nine touchdown passes as the Columbus Lions knocked off the New York Streets 68-55 Saturday night at the Westchester County Center.  Wide receiver Paris Mack had eight catches for 162 yards and three touchdowns as the Lions broke a three game losing streak to improve to 3-5.


With the loss, the Streets fall to 3-5 with their fourth straight setback.  Quarterback David Legree threw for 313 yards and six touchdown passes to go along with eight rushes for 54 yards and two scores.  Wide receiver Edgar Allen Poe had 9 catches for 127 yards and four touchdowns.


The Streets are back in action this Saturday June 22nd when they travel to Florida for the first of back to back games against the Jacksonville Sharks.  Kickoff is at 7pm and you can watch the game on the National Arena League’s YouTube channel. The Streets will then welcome the Sharks to the Westchester County Center on Saturday June 29th.
